Mary recently took Brandan to the Church. She repeatedly reminded him not to look at girls and allowed him to either look at the priest or her. Besides constant reminders, she followed his vision to observe if he was following her command. After the mass, Brandan confronted Mary about her extreme jealousy and that he is not fine with her controlling who he can talk to and look at.
He asked her to trust and faith in him. To this, Mary responded that she didn’t want to be left behind. Brandon continued explaining to her that he could always love her while talking to other people. She soon busted into tears suggesting him to find someone else. All Brandan wanted from her was to trust him, but she did not bother to provide him the surety. Many viewers of the show are hoping Mary gets therapy for her insecurity issues.
