Rachel was excited to finally meet her boyfriend in person after talking online. In a less wholesome scene, Rachel called Jon out for still talking to his ex on social media while visiting him in England. Jon claimed that he still loved his ex, which made Rachel angry and unable to trust him. Another iconic scene showed Rachel and Jon meeting with a lawyer to discuss Jon’s criminal record and whether he can come to the U.S.

Even though Rachel is currently living in the U.S. instead of with Jon in England, they are still together. The couple is still working on getting Jon’s visa approved but haven’t been successful so far. “Sadly, we are still waiting for an answer on the visa,” Rachel wrote on Instagram in August 2022. “Every time we are due for an answer, they have pushed the wait time back another month. Hopefully, we will have an update for you soon.” Despite the bumps in their journey, Jon and Rachel are refusing to give up on their marriage, even if they have to be long-distance again for now.

Jon still hasn’t made it to the U.S. to reunite with his family, but he’s showing them a lot of love on his Instagram page. He recently posted a cute side-by-side photo of his daughter Lucy showing how fast she grew up from the time she was a baby. Jon wrote in the caption, “Where does the time go? Lucy is growing so fast @rachelwalters01( no news on visa yet please don’t ask ).”
The 90 Day Fiancé star also honored his wife Rachel on their anniversary in May by sharing a tribute post for her, along with photos of the couple and Lucy. “Happy Anniversary @rachelwalters01 I miss you. Thank you for taking me into your life and giving me a family and purpose,” Jon said. He then added, “Thank you for loving me and being a wonderful wife. I hope the nightmare of separation ends soon and we can be together for whatever time we have left.” Hopefully, Jon’s visa will finally get approved, so he can live with his family in the U.S.
