Louisville, Kentucky man Paul starred in 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days in 2017 after having met Brazilian woman Karine, 27, online. The couple got married and had two sons, Pierre and Ethan. Karine and Paul’s shocking split in December 2021 made headlines because a video showing an alleged domestic violence incident between them had surfaced online. The couple lost custody of their kids, and Paul reportedly got back together with Karine earlier this year to get their sons back home.
Last week, Karine posted an Instagram story stating Paul had gone missing in Brazil. She also hinted at his death in a cryptic Reel that she posted shortly after. However, blogger John Yates is now claiming that Paul is reportedly alive.

He posted an alleged voice message from Paul in which the 90 Day Fiancé alum says, “Hey John, it’s Paul. In a small indigenous community. My signal is insanely bad.” Paul seems to ask John to give him a call back on the number. “And hopefully you’ll be able to get through to me,” he says in the end. The blogger wrote a note in his caption saying, “As I just discussed on my channel I have heard from Paul.” According to him, Paul also spoke to his mom Mary.
