Below Deck Down Under Season 3: Exclusive Sneak Peek at Thrilling Destinations, Cast Rumors, and Shocking Leaks Revealed

Some exciting news is finally emerging online for Below Deck Down Under Season 3. For a long time, updates have been scarce. Even Captain Jason Chambers has admitted he knows very little about certain aspects. Until recently, the only clue we had was from BravoCon, where Bravo confirmed a Season 3 is in the works. Based on past air dates, this new season should have already premiered, or at the very least, a trailer should be out. Yet, here we are in complete silence, echoing “June June Hannah” into the void. So, I’ve taken to the web, trying to gather as much information as possible on BDDU.

I’m not the only one on this quest. During my searches, I discovered many other Below Deck fans also hunting for any signs of Season 3. I’ve compiled our collective findings, including film crew sightings, potential new charter guests, and possible new cast members. With all this unverified detective work, here’s the latest on Below Deck Down Under Season 3.

The Below Deck Down Under Filming Location

Four months ago, a fan spotted a film crew in La Digue, Seychelles. On the Below Deck subreddit, they shared their sighting: “Walking along Anse Source D’Argent yesterday and came across the crew filming around a lunch table for an ‘unnamed boat show’ to air in the future. The cameramen had hats with Below Deck written on the back.” Another viewer chimed in, claiming they “got details about it for potential casting (but [they are] not going on the show).” This user confirmed, “It is for Down Under Season 3. They will be filming for another 2 weeks there.”

Seychelles, a small East African country consisting of 115 islands, makes for an excellent new location for this beloved series. However, I initially questioned this sighting’s validity. Why would Season 3 sail away from their usual Australian ports?

But then, a New York Times article dropped around the same time as this Reddit thread. In the article titled “Below Deck Sails Into a New Era,” Noah Samton, the Senior VP of unscripted current production at NBCUniversal, confirmed that BDDU Season 3 was filming and teased some new elements for this season.

So, these leaks all point towards a new location for Below Deck Down Under Season 3. The stunning Seychelles will likely be the series’ new home for now.

Aesha Scott is likely out … for now

Potential Below Deck Down Under Charter Guests

During the confirmed filming period, Nikita Sachdev, the founder of Luna Media Group, posted several images and videos of herself on a yacht, with camera crews visible. Supporting the filming location leak, one of her posts included #seychelles. On Instagram, she is now followed by Captain Jason and all the crew members listed at the end. The same applies to many of Nikita’s tagged travel companions. One even posted a highlight reel showing the new yacht for BDDU, Katina, a massive beauty replacing the Northern Sun.

Jessica Weldon, a married hairstylist, is another likely charter guest for Season 3. She posted images of herself and her husband on a yacht with the location tag “Seychelles Island, East Africa.” Both she and her spouse have the same social media connections with this crew as Nikita.

Aesha Scott is Likely Out… For Now

Captain Jason’s loud, lovable sidekick Aesha Scott is likely sitting this one out. Recently, Aesha returned to her original series, Below Deck Mediterranean. She’s also just purchased a house with her fiancé Scott Dobson in New Zealand, so her schedule is packed. Sadly, none of the spotted charter guests, including their tagged friends, follow Aesha, nor do any of our likely new cast members.

Two Returning Cast Members Likely Onboard

Despite Aesha’s absence, two of her BDDU Season 2 co-stars are likely returning. Both Harry van Vliet and Chef Tzarina Mace-Ralph are now social media friends with our spotted charter guests and rumored new crew members.

Both of these alums were bright lights in Season 2, so their potential return for Season 3 is great news.

The Rumored Crew

Chef Tzarina, Captain Jason, Harry, most of the charter guests mentioned, and several new names are all connected online. Here’s a list of possible new yachties, though some might not appear immediately as plane tickets and replacements happen:

  • Tzoni Arvanitis — Bosun
  • Wihan du Toit — Deckie
  • Adair Werley — Deckie
  • Nicolas Cattelan — Deckie
  • Lara Para Rigby — Chief Stew
  • Brianna Duffield — Stewardess
  • Marina Marcondes — Stewardess

Sadly, I still can’t tell you when Below Deck Down Under Season 3 will air or why the interior department always gets the short end of the stick. All we can do now is wait and monitor these leaks as they continue to drop.
