Despite Daisy Kelliher sharing she filmed the season last year without her ex Colin MacRae, the series has yet to make any announcement about its return to Bravo or Peacock. Viewers feel certain this is because of Gary.
While Gary and Daisy had a joking romance earlier in the series run, the big stories of Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 4 revolved around his potential interest in Daisy after she got together with Colin after years of back and forth. Though the couple’s relationship was strained because of Gary, other issues between Colin and Daisy led to their eventual breakup. Gary, on the other hand, had a tumultuous season of Below Deck Sailing Yacht which left viewers feeling uneasy about his behavior. Many were upset and concerned about Gary, and he could’ve caused the series to virtually disappear.

Rather than focusing on a superyacht, Below Deck Sailing Yacht focuses on the titular sailing yacht led by Captain Glenn Shephard. With a crew that understands the ins and outs of the sailing world, Below Deck Sailing Yacht quickly became a favorite of Below Deck viewers, especially because of its drama.
Although there was success for Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 4, Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 has suspiciously been missing from the lineup of Bravo shows for the last season. The reunion for the last season of the series was a well-watched get-together from the cast, who were all excited to get back to work on Parsifal III. The series was already renewed for another season, and it was reported that Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 was filming with Gary aboard. Gary’s behavior on the show has been questionable, but wasn’t enough to keep him off the series.
Gary has had some serious allegations lodged against him in the last year, but his behavior on Below Deck Sailing Yacht was already questionable to start with. Consistently dubbed a playboy, Gary was inappropriate with many of the women aboard Parsifal III each charter season. Gary was called into question by Below Deck franchise makeup artist Samantha Suarez, who alleged that Gary was rough with her and sexually inappropriate while she was trying to get him ready for filming. Gary has vehemently denied these allegations, but his behavior legally has a large hand in the disappearance of the show.
