Ben & Sunny Share a New Look at Their Romance After Season 11 Wrapped: “This One is a Keeper”
The Below Deck couple took their love off the St. David and are sharing photos from their relationship today.
shortly after the Below Deck Season 11 finale aired on Monday evening, Ben Willoughby and Sunny Marquis took to their Instagram accounts where they confirmed that they are still dating after the show.
Viewers watched throughout the season as a romance blossomed from a flirtationship to something serious between the bosun and lead deckhand. Now that the season is over and their secret is out in the open, the couple gave a look inside their romance on social media where they caught viewers up on everything they didn’t see after the season ended.
How long have Ben Willoughby and Sunny Marquis been dating?
Ben posted an Instagram Reel with a number of clips of him and Sunny in different exotic locations together to his feed this week. The couple can be seen riding bikes, trying new foods, surfing, and dancing together in the sweet videos.
“We did a lot of traveling last year,” Ben wrote in the caption of the video. “From Mexico, Italy, Greece, Morocco, Canary Islands, Australia, we had a great time navigating life together. This one is a keeper, she’s a special person.”
But while they have had their successes traveling, they have also had their mishaps, too. Sunny revealed that Ben took her surfing for the very first time in Cabo, where she failed to keep up with him. After finally getting up on her board, she jumped “heels first in sea urchins.”
“I’m in an enormous amount of pain and I think ‘Damn I hope Ben doesn’t notice, this is like our first surf together, don’t embarrass yourself’…sure enough he noticed, I’m embarrassed,” she wrote in the caption of the post. “He carried me to the rental shop and that’s where our surf sesh ended. I was in a lot of pain. We ate sea urchins for dinner. The end.”
Although they have traveled the world, they have also had some more low-key dates in the past year. Ben took to Instagram where he revealed that he and Sunny attended the Stanley Cup Playoffs in the United States where they cheered on the Florida Panthers.

Ben Willoughby says he and Sunny Marquis have met each other’s parents
In addition to giving a look inside their relationship, Ben took to his Instagram Story on May 30, where he answered questions about Below Deck Season 11 and Sunny.
Ben revealed that he’s met Sunny’s parents and she has traveled to Australia to meet his, where she “loves all the wildlife.” Needless to say, they all hit it off together — particularly Ben with Sunny’s parents. “I have to learn French now,” he wrote on his story.
Although the couple had to keep things secret for more than a year, Ben revealed that it wasn’t too hard for them. “[It was] quite nice, actually,” he wrote.
What are Ben Willoughby and Sunny Marquis’ plans for the future?
Ben, who is currently working on a yacht in Spain, is not working with Sunny at the moment. But, he hopes to work with her again in the future.
“We aren’t on the same boat together, unfortunately,” he wrote on his Instagram Story. “Trying though.”
