It’s ‘Magnum, P.I.’ Reunion on ‘Blue Bloods’
Donnie Wahlberg shares sweet photo of ‘Magnum, P.I.’ Original co-stars together again!
It’s been 35 years since the original Magnum, P.I. was off the air, but now there’s a reunion of two of the remaining cast as Larry Manetti, who played Orville ‘Rick’ Wright, guest-stars in Blue Bloods.
The news was shared by Donnie Wahlberg on his Instagram today, posting a photo of the Reagan family— Danny (Wahlberg), Sean (Andrew Terraciano), Erin (Bridget Moynahan), Eddie (Vanessa Ray), Frank ( Selleck), Jamie (Will Estes) and Henry (Len Cariou)—with Manetti at the center.
Wahlberg wrote: #MagnumMonday! It was a mini reunion for Magnum PI, on the set of #BlueBloods this week, with guest stars Larry Manetti & Tom Selleck— together again. I wish the late greats Roger E Mosley & John Hillerman could also be here.

CBS has yet to release adaptation information for the episode, so who Manetti will play has yet to be revealed. But Terraciano’s appearance in the photo could mean that Manetti’s character will receive a rare invitation for non-family members to Sunday dinner since that’s where most of the events take place. Mosley, who plays Theodore “T.C.” Calvin on Magnum, passed away on August 7 last year at the age of 83 from injuries sustained in a car accident. Hillerman, who played Higgins, died of cardiovascular disease at his home in Houston, aged 84, on November 9, 2017.
