Blue Bloods’ stars speak out after CBS addressed the show’s future

Blue Bloods fans, this is the announcement you’ve been waiting for. The police drama has been a Friday night staple since 2010, and CBS has officially confirmed that the show will return for an impressive 14th season.

The official Blue Bloods Instagram account shared the news with a video and message, “The Reagan family tradition continues! #BlueBloods has been renewed for season 14 – we’ll help you get a seat at the table. 🍽️” The post was flooded with comments from fans, like “Yay! This made my day!” and “Great news! Congratulations on another season and thank you to everyone who made sure this could happen 💙🥂

The show’s stars joined in to share in the excitement. Donnie Wahlberg (Danny Reagan) wrote, “Let’s go!❤️,” Will Hochman (Joe Hill) posted a clapping emoji, and Abigail Hawk (Detective Abigail Baker) wrote, “I’M SO EXCITED!!! Congratulations to the family!!!!”

And that’s not the only good news! After a two-week hiatus due to the NCAA men’s basketball tournament, the show will return with an all-new episode, “The Naked Truth,” on March 31. Blue Bloods will follow that episode with another new episode, “Smoke & Mirrors,” on April 7.
