Will blue blood return?
Blue Bloods has been renewed for a fourteenth season in March 2023, so fans are guaranteed at least another year with the Reagan clan. Although plans for further installments beyond 14 have yet to be confirmed, series head Tom Selleck has expressed his hopes for more.
“I don’t think there’s an end in sight,” he said. “I think there’s a lot of life in the show, as long as you let your characters grow and age.”
When will season 14 of Blue Bloods air?
The new season was originally planned to begin in 2023, as the show typically runs from fall/winter to next spring. However, due to production delays caused by the recently resolved WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, Season 14 of Blue Bloods is now scheduled to premiere on February 16, 2024.
Who will return to the cast?
Tom Selleck will take on the role of family patriarch and police commissioner Frank Reagan. Donnie Wahlberg will return as Detective Danny Reagan, as will Bridget Moynahan as ADA Erin Reagan. Also returning for Season 14 are Will Estes as Jamie Reagan, Len Cariou as Henry Reagan, Marisa Ramirez as Maria Baez and Vanessa Ray as Eddie Janko-Reagan.
