The actor’s flight had to make an unexpected detour due to the weather.
Blue Bloods star Donnie Wahlberg is back strong after a scary travel experience. The New Kids on the Block frontman shared details about the flight that led to the unexpected landing, and we’re happy to know he’s safe.
Donnie explains that his plane had to land unexpectedly due to the weather. He reported on his Instagram Stories from outside the plane, alongside the jet’s pilots. He said, “It wasn’t good at all, but I’m safe, thanks to CJ and Matthew. We did it. Phew! It wasn’t fun, but these guys are awesome.”
Donnie shared the video and wrote, “The weather was rough and we had to land in White Plains after a failed attempt in New Jersey, but we made it— SAFE!”
He continued that video with the simple statement “#THANKFUL. All will be okay—no matter what” combined with praying hands, red hearts and star emojis.
We are so grateful to know that Donnie is safe and back on set! He shared a behind-the-scenes video with co-star Marisa Ramirez as they prepared to film the final season of Blue Bloods. Donnie wrote, “Happy Monday! Reagan & Baez are back in the studio! Let’s go!”
CBS announced last week that season 14 will be the conclusion of the popular police drama. The first 10 episodes begin on February 16, and the final eight episodes will air starting in fall 2024.
