Blue Bloods season 14 episode 2: First scoop!
We’ve been waiting for some news about Blue Bloods episode 14 title for quite some time. Luckily, that has changed in the past few days!
In an Instagram post, executive producer Siobhan Byrne O’Connor confirmed that the title of episode 2 is “Drop the Bomb”. This is partly written by her, and it’s certainly an ominous title, isn’t it? Well, we should go ahead and note that this isn’t something you have to take too literally here.
Instead, you can look at this episode as one with some big, emotional reveals – or at least that’s what we’re curious to see. The important thing to remember here is that since this is the final season on CBS, we think there’s going to be more at stake than what we’re used to seeing. After all, let’s remember here for a moment that Blue Bloods tends to follow a pretty specific formula, one where you see a case, a family dinner and then some personal storylines.
We’re hoping that O’Connor will somehow be involved in some later episodes of the season in a writing capacity, mainly because she knows these characters so well.
When will the final episode air?
At this point, it’s still too early to tell. The only thing we can say for sure at the moment is that the second half of the final season will air in the fall of 2024. We have at least 18 episodes to tell the final part of the story and we hope that almost every one of these contains a pivotal moment in some shape or form.
