Blue Bloods season 14 will be upon us soon, bringing the Reagan clan back to our screens.
The hit series, which centers on a multi-generational New York police family, has aired 275 episodes since its premiere in 2010 and is one of the longest-running police procedurals in television history.
TV legend Tom Selleck plays Frank, the patriarch of the Reagan family, while Donnie Wahlberg, Will Estes and Bridget Moynahan also appear.

Tom Selleck plays Frank Reagan
Who is Frank? New York City Police Commissioner Frank is the patriarch of the Irish-American Catholic Reagan family – many of whom work in law enforcement.
What else does Tom Selleck do? Remembered (and loved) as Richard Burke, Monica’s older ophthalmologist boyfriend on the ’90s sitcom Friends, Selleck landed his first major role in 1980 as the title character on the series detective set in Hawaii Magnum PI.
That role won him an Emmy – it also cost him the lead role in Raiders of the Lost Ark, because he couldn’t be released from his Magnum contract – and led to roles in hit movies Three Men and a Baby (with Ted Danson and Steve Guttenberg) and In & Out.
Bridget Moynahan plays Erin Reagan
Who is Erin? Frank’s daughter Erin is an assistant district attorney. Divorced and a single mother to Nicky, she has been through quite a few life-threatening situations, including being held hostage and shot in a courthouse.
What else does Bridget Moynahan do? Former model Bridget made her acting debut in the film Coyote Ugly, and also appeared in the films Serendipity, I, Robot and as John’s late wife Helen in the first two John Wick films.
Her television career includes the role of Natasha, Big’s first wife, on Sex and the City, which she reprized in an episode of the first season of the sequel And Just Like That.
Will Estes plays Jamie Reagan
Who is Jamie? Jamie is Frank’s youngest son and a sergeant with the NYPD. He is married to his former partner, Officer Eddie Janko.
What else is Will Estes involved in? Will’s first big TV role came when he was just 11 years old, playing the young owner of Lassie the dog in The New Lassie, a reboot of the classic children’s series. He later starred in the music video for Bon Jovi’s hit It’s My Life and appeared in the 1960s-set television series American Dreams.
Donnie Wahlberg plays Danny Reagan
Who is Danny? Frank’s eldest son Danny is a former Marine who is now a police detective. A widower like his father, after the death of his wife in a helicopter crash, Danny has two sons. His current police partner is Maria Baez.
What else does Donnie Wahlberg do? A founding member of pop band New Kids On The Block – and brother of actor Mark – Donnie Wahlberg is best known for his memorable performance as a disturbed patient at the beginning of The Sixth Sense, and as Detective Eric Matthews in the horror film Saw II (and its sequels Saw III and IV).
Len Cariou plays Henry Reagan
Who is Henry? Frank’s father and Erin, Jamie, and Danny’s grandfather and their late brother Joe and Henry were a Marine during World War II and the Korean War. He is a former police commissioner.
What else does Len Cariou do? Tony Award-winning actor Len Cariou is known for many films, including the Oscar-winning Spotlight, Thirteen Days and Bumblebee.
On TV, he periodically played the mysterious Irish man Michael Hagarty on Murder, She Wrote, and also appeared in the popular mini-series When They See Us. Len is only six years older than Tom Selleck, who plays his son, so in the film he had to wear prosthetics to look older.
Marisa Ramirez plays Maria Baez
Who is Maria? Maria has been Danny’s police partner since 2013. At the end of season 12, she adopted a newborn baby girl, whose mother was assassinated by a man she was testifying against.
What else does Marisa Ramirez do? Before Blue Bloods, Marisa appeared in over 100 episodes of the US daytime drama General Hospital, and starred in The Young and the Restless and the miniseries Spartacus: Gods of the Arena, a prequel to the series TV series Spartacus.
Vanessa Ray plays Eddie Janko-Reagan
Who is Eddie? Marie “Eddie” Janko is Jamie’s former police partner and now his wife. She is a uniformed patrol officer
What else is Vanessa Ray involved in? Vanessa is best known for her role as CeCe Drake on the television series Pretty Little Liars. She also guest-starred on The Mentalist, Suits, Damages and Nurse Jackie before joining Blue Bloods in season 4.
