7. Season 10
Being on the air for a decade is nothing short of amazing, and Blue Bloods knew that when they premiered their 10th season in September 2019 with 19 episodes. The show has tried its best to deliver some of the most memorable and entertaining episodes that remind audiences why they have been around for so long.
It was the season finale, “Family Secrets,” that really impressed audiences. In this episode, Sean receives an unknown match from a relative on a DNA website and he tries his best to find out who this person is. At the same time, Frank must help a woman who requests her son’s transfer to a safer assignment.
6. Season 4
Blue Bloods season 4 has a list of well-written episodes that deserve attention. Among them, viewers can find “Unwritten Rules”, “The City That Never Sleeps”, “Lost and Found”, “draw Dead” and “Exiles”.
However, one episode that is often talked about by fans is Episode 3, “Protect and Serve.” When detectives discover that Erin is being held hostage in the courtroom by an informant in a drug case, it is Danny who leads the hostage negotiations.
5. Season 6
In 2015 and 2016, Blue Bloods aired its sixth season. There are 22 episodes in which Danny and Baez continue to work together as partners.
One of the best episodes of the season is Episode 8, “Unsung Heroes.” In this episode, Linda, Danny and their children are threatened by a serial killer. Also in this episode, Jamie finds himself challenging his superior position during a hostage negotiation.
4. Season 2
While Season 1 of Blue Bloods served as an introduction to the characters, Season 2 is the season where fans already know who they’re dealing with and what circumstances will arise or be surprising. From September 2011 to May 2012, the series aired 22 new episodes.
Episode 12, “The Job,” is one of the most memorable episodes of the season and focuses on two storylines. On one hand, Danny hits a man in his car and shots are fired, nearly injuring his family. On the other hand, Frank spoke after his partner woke up.
3. Season 3
Season 3 of Blue Bloods was Baez’s first introduction to the show. She appears in Episode 17, “Protest Too Much.” The Reagan family is targeted by a photographer during a protest, and Erin is upset when she recognizes the rape victim she was working with on a case in the photo. At the same time, Danny and Baez begin investigating a couple who robbed a bank and stole a police officer’s gun.
The season aired from September 2012 to May 2013. Since then, Baez has become a part of the show and a fan favorite.
2. Season 5
Blue Bloods season 5 is a fan favorite for a reason. Many of its episodes were shocking, delivering stories that reminded viewers why the show had been going for five years – a glimpse of what they would achieve in years to come.
The season finale, “The Art of War,” is on that list of memorable episodes. The first part of the finale began with “New Rules,” but it was the resolution that left fans satisfied. When one of the Reagans is shot, Danny searches for the suspect as he deals with his own personal feelings.
