Captain Sandy and Hannah Ferrier Are on Good Terms and Reunited in the Best Way Possible
Dishing about their recent hangout, Below Deck Med‘s Sandy Yawn said, “I do care about Hannah.”
Three years after ending their working relationship together on Below Deck Mediterranean, Captain Sandy Yawn and Hannah Ferrier are back on good terms.
During a recent appearance on the Australian radio series Ricki-Lee, Tim & Joel, the yachtie revealed that she got together with the former chief stew during her visit Down Under.
“I saw Hannah the other night and we had a great conversation,” Captain Sandy revealed.

The newlywed went to Hannah’s home, which she shares with her husband, Josh Roberts, and their three-year-old daughter, Ava.
“We had a great conversation,” she reiterated. “I went to her house and I met her baby, her husband.”
What happened between Hannah Ferrier and Captain Sandy Yawn?
In addition to talking about her recent reunion with the Aussie, Sandy revealed what she really thinks about her former colleague these days.
“A lot of people think [I don’t like her]. But I don’t not like anyone,” Sandy said on the radio show. “Honestly. I like Hannah. I actually care about Hannah. She knows that. I hope she’s listening because I do care about Hannah.”
During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in January 2024, Sandy opened up about the evolution of her relationship with Hannah, who she fired on Season 5.
“Hannah, she’s great,” she said on the show, which you can check out by watching the video at the top of this post. “Hannah was always great, she would come to my cabin [and] we would have great conversations.”
However, Sandy admitted her working relationship with Hannah was filled with its fair share of ups and downs.
“And there was always the challenge too, so I miss both,” she continued. “The push-pull.”
What does Hannah Ferrier do now?
Following her last appearance on the yachting series in 2020, Hannah returned to Australia, started an online yachting course, and began hosting a podcast, Dear Reality, You’re Effed. She announced her pregnancy with her daughter in June 2020, while Season 5 was airing, and she gave birth to Ava Grace Roberts on October 26 of that year.
Hannah’s then-boyfriend, Josh, was quite private at the time, and the couple announced their engagement about a month after their daughter’s birth.
Josh and Hannah tied the knot in Australia in March 2022, and the pair have been happily raising their daughter ever since.
