Transitioning from a life of luxury to the stark reality of prison life has been a challenging ordeal for them. Amidst the trials and tribulations, there emerges a beacon of hope for Julie Chrisley, as recent developments hint at the possibility of an early release for her as soon as 2025.

Both Julie and Todd have been clinging to hope as they await their appeal hearing in April 2023, where they will have the opportunity to argue for a reduction in their sentences. On Savannah Chrisley’s podcast “Unlocked,” the couple’s attorney, Alex Little, shed light on the potential outcomes of the upcoming hearing, especially concerning Julie’s sentence. According to Little, Julie has a tangible chance of securing an early release due to “errors” in her original sentencing, which could lead to a substantial reduction in her prison term.

The possibility of Julie Chrisley being released as early as 2025, or potentially even sooner, has captivated the attention of their supporters and followers of the “Chrisley Knows Best” saga. While the appeal’s outcome remains uncertain, the Chrisleys’ legal team remains hopeful yet realistic about the chances of early release, emphasizing the impact of the First Step Act in potentially accelerating Julie’s return home.

She kicked off her Instagram Reel by admitting that Thanksgiving was going to look a little different for her family this year. She explained that she was not going to “fake it.” They weren’t doing things in a traditional sense this year. She, however, did get a bit of good news via phone call.

According to Savannah, their oral arguments had been accepted by the court. In March, they would get to go back to court to argue why Todd and Julie should be released from prison and be allowed to come home.

Savannah said she was “freaking out” and so were her siblings. She added that she even took the time to explain what was happening to Chloe.

Part of the reason why this was huge news is because, per Savannah Chrisley, only about 6 percent of oral arguments are accepted by the courts.

We get to go and argue why mom and dad should be home. So, God is good. Thanksgiving win!”
