Here’s How Aesha Scott Really Feels About That Contact Lens Moment with Jason Chambers

The Below Deck Down Under captain’s dependency on the chief stew led her to call for his “self-growth.”

During an exclusive interview with The Daily Dish, Aesha Scott opened up about Season 2 of Below Deck Down Under, detailing her close connection with Captain Jason Chambers in the process.

“He’s my captain, but he’s also my friend,” the chief stew shared in the interview that took place on July 6, adding how Jason was basically like her “fourth stew” on the boat. “He supports me so much. He’s always doing my dishes and emptying my bins. And I’m going up in the morning and putting his contacts in. We’re just a really supportive unit.”

Wait… she’s doing what now?

“Well, I don’t know if it’s gross, but I think everyone can see he’s a grown man and he doesn’t know how to put contacts in,” she laughed. “So maybe we can work on self-growth?”

“We need to talk about that contact lens thing,” Andy said. “I have never let someone put my contact lens[es] in my eyes. Can you just not do it, Jason?”

“I can’t do the left one! I can’t get up all around — ” Jason revealed, pantomiming his arms around the left side of his face. “I keep dropping them in the sink and… they’re expensive!”

“And Aesha does it… for you?” Andy inquisitively went on.

“I’m a capable woman, what can I say?” Aesha hilariously exclaimed.
