Jill Zarin faced backlash from fans for coming off as “rude” on Monday’s episode of “Below Deck.”

The “Real Housewives of New York City” alum stayed on the superyacht as a friend of the primary guest, but crew members quickly pointed out that she was trying to take control.

“Jill is the primary in her head. She’s overwhelming,” stewardess Barbara “Barbie” Pascual admitted in a confessional.

The “Real Housewives of New York City” alum appeared as a guest on Monday’s episode of “Below Deck.”
During the trip, one of the things that rubbed Pascual the wrong way was Zarin demanding to get different-shaped ice cubes for her Diet Coke compared to the rest of the group.

“I don’t care about anyone else. My Diet Cokes [go] into the freezer,” Zarin, 60, also told her.

In another instance, Zarin made a “special request” for a makeup mirror before pointing out that she could not find an electrical outlet in the bathroom. She also criticized the fact that the bathrooms were not stocked with toiletries.

“I want to tell you something else, because I’ve charted a lot of yachts before [and] every bathroom is loaded with toothbrushes, toothpaste, mouthwash, Band-Aids, Q-Tips –– has anyone ever said that before?” Zarin asked Pascual. “I like to complain, I’m sorry.”

The former Bravolebrity also criticized the lack of toiletries, available snacks and even the menu.

Zarin recognized that she was “pushy” and “[liked] to complain.”
Zarin also requested a bell from Chief Stew Fraser Olender so she could call the crew anytime they needed anything.

The former “Housewife” further voiced her concerns about the food and suggested there be snacks “out all the time.”

She even told the primary guest, “That’s why I have to get involved. I’m a little pushy but at least you’ll be satisfied.”

Zarin even complained during lunch, criticizing that they were being served sporadically, the food was cold and there was no hot sauce readily available. She even requested that the chef make her a separate meal of chicken pad thai, sushi and crudité for dinner.

“This is too much for me. I need another stew just for Jill,” Pasucal said in a confessional.

Chief Stew Fraser Olender confessed that Zarin was “eating away at my soul.”
During confessional interviews, the “Below Deck” crew complained about her with Pascual saying, “I think she’s annoying, and I think it’s too much. You’re a freeloading guest who’s extremely demanding. This is too much for me. I need another stew just for Jill.”

Olender also slammed Zarin, noting, “Jill is crawling into my brain and eating away at my soul.”

“I think the primary, she’s OK, but her friend taking over the boat, it’s like she’s a f–king captain,” Chef Anthony Iracane said in his confessional. “Like taking over the ship.”

It didn’t take fans long to comment on her “rude” behavior.
Shortly after the episode aired, fans took to social media to slam Zarin for her “gross” behavior.

“Watching #BelowDeck and just unfollowed Jill Zarin. I knew she could be a pain sometimes but I thought overall as a person that she was kind and considerate. Clearly, I was wrong. My parents would be so ashamed of me if I treated ppl that way,” someone tweeted.

“It’s not cute to be an a–hole. It’s not impressive. It’s not attractive. It’s just gross. And yes, I’m talking to you Jill Zarin.. and so many others I see on these shows. I would be SO embarrassed to have people see me act like a spoiled brat. #BelowDeck,” another person wrote.

“I unfollowed Jill Zarin I hope everybody follows along. She is a terrible, entitled you know what. She wasn’t even the primary and was given everybody orders I would’ve thrown her over the boat. #BelowDeck,” one user added.

Zarin has yet to address the backlash.
“Please Bravo, I’m begging you, let this be the last time we see Jill Zarin on your network. We don’t want any more. She is entitled and rude and mean. #BelowDeck #jillzarin #rhony,” someone chimed in.

“Jill Zarin is so self-important, demanding, and privileged. She acted as if she were the primary. Fraser let himself get caught up in it so that service and the food suffered. Jill is insufferable. #BelowDeck,” another user pointed out.

“Jill Zarin is absolutely insufferable. THIS is why she was never invited back to #RHONY #belowdeck,” someone added.

Zarin has yet to address the backlash and her rep didn’t immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.

“Below Deck” airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
