Married at First Sight Australia star Tahnee Cook has delighted fans with the announcement that she is returning to London in September.
Taking to Instagram to announce the upcoming trip, Tahnee posted a picture of herself smiling along with the caption: “My current mood knowing I’m heading back to London next month.
“I can’t wait to go back, it’s seriously been too long! If you don’t know, I actually lived in London for a few years and it feels like a second home to me. I hope I can meet some of you guys too – you’ve been so lovely and supportive. Please also send me suggestions on what to do and see, I feel like I’ll be a tourist again!”
Fans were quick to respond to the post with many requesting meet and greets, while other fans flooded the comment section with recommendations for the reality star.
“I want to meet youuuuuu!” wrote one excited fan, while another commented: “Omg. Please do a meet and greet.”
Confirming the news that she is travelling to London for work via an Instagram Q&A, Tahnee said she is going “mainly for work, but I’ll get some down time too”.
This comes just after the MAFS Australia star released a statement defending her decision to return to her day job as a PR manager.
Sharing a statement on her Instagram Stories last week, Tahnee said: “It’s so disheartening seeing this narrative being pushed by media that because we work ‘normal’ jobs, it’s turned into a negative and we’re made out to be ‘failures’?
“You constantly criticise people for going on reality TV wanting to become influencers and then tear them down if they do so, but now are trying to imply that because we work 9 to 5 jobs (like literally everyone else in the world), we should be laughed at?”
