Fall TV is right around the corner — and CBS is celebrating early!

The network brought the casts of some of its biggest hit shows, as well as some of its most anticipated series, to the TCA Press Tour last month and made sure to capture them looking slick in their summer finest. And now they’re sharing those photos exclusively with PEOPLE as we all get excited for what the new season will bring.

For Justin Hartley, the second season of Tracker — which kicks off the network’s premiere week on Sunday, Oct. 13 — means more screentime alongside Jensen Ackles, who plays his character’s mysterious brother.

of Matlock, which debuts on Sunday, Sept. 22 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The show is

inspired by the beloved Andy Griffith series of the same name, which ran for nine seasons from 1986 to 1995. Bates, who plays the title character, admits she didn’t really follow the original show. “I was starting out in New York in theater, and I wasn’t watching television at night,” she said. “All of it is a blur, but I did watch it a little bit. And of course, I’ve been a huge fan, just as an actor, of Andy Griffith.”

Carrie Preston and Wendell Pierce

of Elsbeth, which premieres Thursday, Oct. 17 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. “Our show is comfort food, but we don’t want to get too comfortable,” warned EP Tollins, who also said there was a “strong possibility” of characters from Elsbeth’s origin shows, The Good Wife and The Good Fight making appearances.

Justin Hartley

of Tracker, which returns Sunday, Oct. 13 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. “This guy leads with his heart, and we don’t necessarily see that when we think of a character like this,” Hartley said. “He’s able to be there and fix all these problems of other people, but there’s this one thing he can’t get out of the way of — as smart as he is.”

Kathy Bates

of Matlock, which debuts on Sunday, Sept. 22 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. “Playing each scene is like creating a little bead on a necklace,” Bates said, describing each scene as “one little pearl.” “You just have to have faith. … It all shifts and changes and that’s part of what makes it exciting.”
